Neousys Technology has expanded its NVIDIA Jetson-based line of computing systems with the launch of the NRU-230V-AWP and NRU-240S-AWP series.

Featuring IP66-rated waterproof capabilities at an affordable cost, these innovative systems are designed to accelerate powerful AI performance at roadside or in-vehicle deployments. Equipped with the NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin system-on-module with eight GMSL2 ports (NRU-230V-AWP only), four PoE+ GbE ports, and one 10GbE port, they are ideal for off-road vehicle ADAS and autonomous mobile robotics.

To ensure reliable edge deployments, the NRU-230V-AWP and NRU-240S-AWP are waterproof and dustproof. Designed with affordability in mind, these systems operate within a temperature range of -25°C to 70°C, making them suitable for demanding environments.

The NRU-230V-AWP and NRU-240S-AWP support a wide range of interfaces for versatile camera, sensor, and data transmission devices, including GMSL2, PoE+ GbE and 10GbE via M12 connectors. Powered by the Jetson AGX Orin, they deliver 275 TOPS AI inference performance and video transcoding for AI-powered vision applications. Additionally, they support a unique waterproof Type-C display that provides 4K DisplayPort output or USB3.2, benefitting ADAS applications by providing real-time surround-view awareness of the vehicles.

Designed for in-vehicle deployments, the NRU-230V-AWP and NRU-240S-AWP support 8V to 48V wide-range DC input with built-in ignition power control, isolated CAN 2.0, COM ports, and WiFi, 4G LTE/ 5G NR support. Last but not least, The NRU-230V-AWP has a system monitoring port with CAN bus and digital output through on-board automotive MCU, providing real-time reports on power, voltage, thermal, and Jetson status to ensure system reliability in a functional safety solution design.

Kaichu Wu, Product Manager at Neousys Technology, commented: “The power-efficient Jetson series enables the possibility of fanless AI computers at the edge. By making waterproof at an affordable cost, NRU-230V-AWP and NRU-240S-AWP series can bring innovative Edge AI applications down to earth, especially for roadside and off-road vehicles.”
