Neousys Technology has confirmed that its rugged NRU-220S series of embedded computers is now available with the NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin industrial (JAOi) system-on-module and also supports the latest JetPack 6.0 SDK.
This significant enhancement to these systems enables extensive wide temperature support and includes an upgraded software stack.
To withstand harsher operational conditions, the NRU-220S series extends support for the JAOi module, offering reliable performance across a wide temperature range of -40°C to 75°C, meeting NEMA TS2 and outdoor vehicle temperature requirements. The module delivers up to 248 TOPS of AI performance, with a configurable power setting between 15W and 75W, making it ideal for edge AI applications such as intelligent video analytics and advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS).
JetPack 6.0, the latest SDK, accelerates AI application development on Jetson platforms with updates including Jetson Linux, Jetson AI Stack, and Jetson Platform Services. Bundled with JetPack 6.0, the NRU-220S series offers a modular architecture, featuring comprehensive AI software services based on Linux Kernel 5.15 and Ubuntu 22.04. This enables developers to build vision AI applications more efficiently, reducing time to market.
As a part of Neousys’ Jetson product line, the NRU-220S series is specifically designed for AI inference and vision applications in roadside or in-vehicle settings. It comes equipped with two 2.5GbE and four PoE+ GbE ports, M.2 and mini-PCIe sockets for communication modules, and an 8V to 48V wide-range DC input with built-in ignition power control. Additionally, the NRU-220S Series includes the NRU-222S model, which features robust M12 connectors, designed for applications that require rugged connections to withstand shock and vibration.
