ST Engineering’s Digital Systems business has secured new counter-drone deployments in Asia outside Singapore, covering air defense and the protection of multiple critical infrastructure sites.

The deployments reflect growing demand for integrated counter-unmanned aerial system capabilities as defense and security organizations strengthen their response to evolving drone threats. Their use across distinct applications also demonstrates the system’s suitability for different operational requirements.

The company’s counter-UAS solution is built around a modular, layered defense architecture that brings together advanced sensors, AI-enabled command-and-control, and soft-kill and hard-kill effectors. These elements work together to detect, track, identify and neutralize drone threats.

Low Jin Phang, Chief Operating Officer for Defence & Public Security, and President for Digital Systems, ST Engineering, said, “Counter-drone capabilities have become an increasingly important part of modern defence and security operations. These deployments underscore the growing demand for integrated solutions against evolving drone threats and validate our ability to deliver operationally proven counter-drone capabilities.”

Extensive testing and operational validation underpin the solution, which draws on ST Engineering’s expertise in sensors, communications, AI and mission systems to provide integrated protection against a broad spectrum of drone threats.

Its modular design supports deployment across defense, public security and critical infrastructure protection missions.
