Partnership to Enhance Advanced Bomb Disposal Systems

Global armor manufacturer NP Aerospace and US blast protection specialist United Shield International have formed a strategic partnership to enhance the delivery and through-life support of advanced bomb disposal systems across the American law enforcement market.

The collaboration brings together two complementary organizations to provide US bomb squads with streamlined access to the NP Aerospace 4030 ELITE Bomb Suit and Helmet System. By integrating NP Aerospace’s protective technology and Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) suit capabilities with United Shield International’s US-based sales, customer networks, and support infrastructure, the alliance pairs technical engineering with localized operational assistance.

Certified to the US National Institute of Justice (NIJ) 0117.01 Public Safety Bomb Suit Standard, the 4030 ELITE system is available in five sizes and provides advanced blast resistance, operational performance, mobility, and comfort. NP Aerospace is one of only two companies globally offering a bomb suit that meets this level of NIJ-certified accreditation, providing an extensively tested, quality-controlled, and audited protective solution.

Under the partnership, bomb disposal units will receive comprehensive technical assistance, operational training, and enhanced product demonstrations. United Shield International will manage dedicated service support within the US to ensure responsive aftermarket care designed to maximize operational readiness throughout procurement and deployment.
