Norwegian Software Company Acquires Forsberg

Teleplan Globe AS, a provider of software solutions for mission-critical systems, has acquired Forsberg Holdings Limited, the parent company of Forsberg Services Limited.

The acquisition builds on a well-established and successful cooperation between Teleplan Globe and Forsberg. This has led to significant contracts for the joint solution MANTIS optimizing the core technologies of both companies and putting the needs of the end users at the forefront.

The acquisition is expected to further strengthen Teleplan Globe’s capabilities within areas such as operational decision support systems, control and integration of unmanned systems in addition to mission critical solutions extracting highly accurate position data.

For Forsberg customers in the UK and in the international market, product and service offerings will broaden significantly, supported by the considerable addition to the company’s software development capacity.

Charles Forsberg, the founder and majority shareholder of Forsberg, will continue to support the company as an advisor. Chris Mayne will remain as the Managing Director and key management will remain significant minority shareholders.
