Accelerate Defense Modernization through Strategic Sourcing
Discover cutting-edge solutions from leading global suppliersINVISIO is releasing the T30, its new versatile headset designed for mounted and dismounted operations, supporting tactical communications without compromising sound quality, hearing protection, or situational awareness.

The T30, showcased at DSEI 2025, allows customers and end-users to rely on a single headset across a variety of environments, such as training or missions, removing the need for different headsets in different situations and for additional equipment, training and costs.
Hearing Protection & High-quality Audio
INVISIO’s T30 delivers hearing protection of 30 dB SNR / 33 dB NRSA20, with active noise reduction as well as passive hearing protection. The active noise reduction increases protection in low frequency noise environments, often associated with mounted situations. This enables users to spend more time in vehicles and lowers potential fatigue.
The headset also features a unique implementation of active noise reduction, that protects hearing whilst preserving full situational awareness. This enables maximum safety in all situations, with its upgraded acoustic design delivering precise sound localization down to 9 degrees.
INVISIO’s T30 provides double hearing protection (38 dB SNR / 39 dB NRSA20) while maintaining optimized situational awareness. In this mode, the hear-through audio is tuned to the acoustic filter in the in-ear plug, giving users full double hearing protection without compromising awareness of the surroundings.
The T30 offers headset-embedded INVISIO audio. This provides high-quality sound and Automatic RX Volume Adjustment, which adjusts radio volume in line with surrounding noise, and VOX capability for voice-activated transmission.
INVISIO’s T30 can operate as a stand-alone headset, powered by a single AA battery (up to 110 hours battery life), or draw power from a connected device, due to its versatile power modes. The headset can transition between power modes without operational disruptions.
Users can swap between wearing styles in two minutes without using tools, and the headset itself is water and humidity repellent, submersible down to two meters for two hours.
Jonathan Wassberg, Product Manager of Headsets at INVISIO, stated, “The T30 is a groundbreaking addition to our tactical communications systems and really does offer something we haven’t seen before – a stand-alone headset that eliminates the need to change headsets in different scenarios, offering unlimited versatility with zero compromise to audio quality, hearing protection and situational awareness.”
Connectivity
The T30 supports external microphones via its U-173 plug, allowing seamless integration with equipment such as gas masks. Smart automatic detection gives priority to the external microphone over the boom microphone. Its Redundancy Tx feature ensures voice capture from the hear-through microphones if the boom microphone is lost or malfunctions.
INVISIO’s headset offers versatile integration with personnel in the field, working with INVISIO control units and the ultra-light Push-to-Talk P30. It can also be connected directly to digital devices such as smartphones and laptops, delivering rich audio and power from these devices.
Wassberg, added, “From versatile connectivity, design, and power modes to unrivalled audio adaptability, hearing protection and situational awareness, this is the culmination of INVISIO’s years of experience in this field, and answers the needs of personnel across the world, in an array of scenarios that has never been seen before.”
The T30 is expected to be available for shipment within the next 6 months, subject to regions and variants.
