Orbit Communication Systems has introduced the MPT30Ka Deployable SATCOM System, a next-gen communication terminal tailored for rapid field deployment.

Building on the proven MPT30 platform, this new system offers military forces the flexibility and reliability required for seamless, secure connectivity in dynamic and demanding environments.

The MPT30Ka Deployable system is engineered to be man-portable, allowing quick and straightforward deployment in the field. Its roll-on/roll-off capability gives military personnel the ability to set up a high-performance SATCOM link within minutes, ensuring real-time data transmission, secure voice communication, and live video streaming even in GPS-denied environments.

Designed for global coverage, the MPT30Ka system supports GEO, MEO, LEO, and HEO satellite constellations, providing unmatched connectivity across diverse terrains. The system’s high Effective Isotropic Radiated Power (EIRP) and Gain-to-Noise Temperature (G/T) values enable efficient broadband communication, even at low elevation angles. Furthermore, its high EIRP Spectral Density (EIRPsd) optimizes bandwidth allocation, making it particularly suitable for military customers with extensive SATCOM fleets.

The MPT30Ka system is built to withstand the harshest operational environments, meeting MIL-STD compliance and featuring a ruggedized design. Its plug-and-play functionality simplifies deployment, with a single-button setup allowing forces to establish a stable SATCOM link in just minutes. Additionally, the terminal’s ability to operate in GPS jamming and spoofing conditions ensures mission-critical reliability.

The compact and lightweight design of the MPT30Ka system reduces operational costs while enhancing mobility and availability. Its energy-efficient features make it a cost-effective solution for modern mobile defense forces. The system can also be mounted on vehicles or vessels, further expanding its versatility for various military applications.

Daniel Eshchar, Orbit’s CEO, commented, “In today’s battlefield, satellite communication is not just an advantage—it is a necessity. Forces require resilient, high-performance connectivity to ensure mission success. The MPT30Ka Deployable SATCOM system delivers precisely that: a robust, continuous, and high-quality communication link that keeps troops connected under any conditions. This system plays a critical role in modern warfare, providing the reliability and flexibility essential for operational superiority.”

With the MPT30Ka Deployable SATCOM System, Orbit Communication Systems is setting a new standard for military communications, ensuring forces stay connected in even the most challenging and remote locations.
