Neousys Technology has launched the FLYC-300, the latest addition to the company’s family of NVIDIA Jetson-based computing solutions.

Weighing in at just 297g with 100 TOPS AI performance, the low-SWaP (size, weight, and power) FLYC-300 is ideal for a wide range of advanced drone, robotic vehicle and autonomous systems applications.

The mobility and ease of operation of drones and robotics have made them invaluable across various industries and use cases, including surveillance, logistics, rescue operations, and security. FLYC-300’s AI computation capabilities enable autonomous navigation, object detection, real-time inference, and SLAM (Simultaneous Localization and Mapping).

To cater to a variety of sensing and perception functions, the FLYC-300 includes 2x Ethernet, 2x USB3.2, and 2x GMSL2 ports, facilitating the integration of various sensors such as RGB, infrared, hyperspectral, HDR, and high-res cameras. With built-in UART and CAN support, seamless interaction with flight controllers, vehicles or robots is ensured.

Additionally, FLYC-300 accommodates a wide voltage input range from 4S to 14S battery packs (or 12V to 60V DC input) via the XT30 DC-IN connector for drones. It also offers compatibility with 5G or 4G modules for real-time transmission of images, videos, and data. FLYC-300 is available with or without an enclosure to suit a variety of integration requirements.

Neil Liu, product manager at Neousys Technology, commented: “FLYC-300 is a lightweight AI computer designed to elevate unmanned systems to new heights by combining vision and the powerful yet efficient NVIDIA Jetson SoM. Its low-SWaP and interface designs make integration and deployment easily, offering unparalleled AI capabilities for drones and robotics.”
