The Vertex Company will provide contractor logistics support for the US Navy and US Marine Corps’ fleet of C-12 Huron aircraft under a new $230 million contract awarded by the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR).

Under the new contract, Vertex will provide a range of services including site support, aircraft depot maintenance, engine depot maintenance, propeller depot overhauls and modifications for the C-12 twin-engine aircraft, which are used for light passenger and cargo missions.

The contract period of performance is a three-month base for transition plus a nine-month option for full performance in the ‘base year’ and four one-year options thereafter.
