Haivision has launched Play ISR Premium, an enhanced version of its low-latency video player software tailored for advanced intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance analysis.
The software expands the company’s AI-enabled video ecosystem, providing processing, exploitation, and dissemination tools that allow defense, public safety, and security professionals to view full-motion video and embedded key-length-value metadata in real time. As operational teams manage growing volumes of live video data within time-sensitive environments, the system is designed to support tactical ISR analysts, systems engineers, and operational teams through interactive mapping, annotation, recording, and collaboration capabilities.
“Haivision Play ISR Premium gives ISR analysts the advanced tools they need to quickly understand, collaborate, and act on time-sensitive video intelligence,” said Brian Henry, President at Haivision MCS. “As part of Haivision’s growing ISR ecosystem, Play ISR Premium helps users improve situational awareness and make faster, more confident operational decisions in mission-critical environments.”
To facilitate rapid video review and collaborative analysis, the platform introduces several operational capabilities. Interactive mapping features provide real-time video geolocation, field-of-view visualization, target displays, and annotation overlays, with support for third-party map sources to enhance contextual awareness. Advanced annotation tools allow users to apply freehand drawings, text, markers, arrows, and shapes directly to the interface.
Additional tools include integrated recording capabilities to preserve critical video segments for documentation and intelligence sharing, alongside zoom and pan controls for close inspection and target identification. Advanced timeline controls enable analysts to isolate and loop specific playback segments, while snapshot capture capabilities support ongoing intelligence reporting. This software integrates directly into a broader video ecosystem that includes the Makito video encoder series, the Kraken X1 Rugged for real-time video processing, and the Kobra video operations platform.
The technology will be demonstrated at Eurosatory 2026 in Paris from June 15-19, and a core version of the desktop application remains available for download across PC, Mac, and Linux platforms.
