Neousys Technology has introduced the POC-766AWP, the first IP67-rated compact computer in its POC series of rugged embedded systems.

Neousys Debuts Compact IP67 Computer for Harsh Industrial Edge AI Applications

Engineered for reliability and performance in environments with high moisture or dust, the POC-766AWP combines a compact size with the processing power of the Intel Core i3-N series. This new system is intended to set a benchmark for edge computing in harsh industrial conditions and complements the company’s existing SEMIL IP67 series.

The system is powered by the Intel Core i3-N305 processor, which features eight E-cores and DDR5 memory. This configuration supports applications such as AI vision inspection, complex data processing, and real-time edge analytics. The computer is designed to operate stably across extreme industrial conditions, with a temperature range of -25°C to 70°C. The chassis is constructed from a hybrid of stainless steel and aluminum, providing full dust protection and passing rigorous immersion chamber testing. This makes the POC-766AWP suitable for demanding sanitary environments, food processing, and high-humidity facilities.

For secure and reliable field connections, the computer utilizes industrial-grade M12 locking connectors, including dual X-coded 2.5GbE ports, three isolated DIO, and one CAN 2.0B interface, ensuring stability even in high-vibration scenarios.

The POC-766AWP offers deployment flexibility with multiple mounting options, such as flattop, wall-mount, and DIN-rail, along with a wide range 8–35V input and ignition power control. These features allow it to function reliably as an onboard controller, factory node, or outdoor edge AI endpoint.

Neil Liu, Product Manager at Neousys Technology, commented, “Our customers should never have to choose between performance and reliability. POC-766AWP embodies that commitment by bringing high-performance computing into environments where it was previously difficult to deploy. We look forward to seeing this product empower our industrial partners worldwide to advance their edge AI applications.”
