Terma, a provider of naval radar systems, is set to supply four SCANTER 6002 naval surveillance radars for the 2 Belgian and 2 Netherlands Navy Anti-Submarine Warfare frigates.
The SCANTER 6002 naval surveillance radar is an International Maritime Organization (IMO) approved product, renowned for its advanced features and superior performance. Equipped with X-band technology, multi-frequency capabilities, and state-of-the-art small target detection algorithms, the radars offer high-performance even in adverse weather conditions, providing reliability and accuracy for naval surveillance operations.
Damen Naval, responsible for constructing the frigates and main contractor with the NL MOD/NAVY, will manage the integration of the SCANTER 6002 radars onto the vessels. RH Marine, serving as system integrator, will work closely with Terma to guarantee the smooth integration and peak performance of the radar systems.
Terma’s SCANTER 6002 naval surveillance radars are established as reference radars for naval surveillance worldwide, offering enhanced performance, reliability, and versatility for a wide range of maritime applications.
