CTech has been awarded a contract by the NATO Communications and Information Agency (NCIA) to provide the SATCOM Ground Segment Electronic Protective Measure Systems (EPMS).

The contract was awarded as a result of a competition within the scope of the Capability Package “Satellite Communications (SATCOM) Transmission Services”. CTech participated in the NCIA’s tender for the new generation EPMS, aiming to replace the previous versions of the system.

The SecureARX developed by CTech, according to Respective Standardization Agreement and additional capabilities will be comprehensively integrated into Satellite Ground Systems of NATO as critical fixed and portable stations and platforms, ensuring the uninterrupted continuity of NATO’s satellite communication operations with CTech SecureARX.

CTech’s General Manager Dr. Cüneyd Fırat commented, “The SecureARX, Secure and Jamming Resistant Satellite Communication System is specifically designed to meet all requirements for SATCOM in military and government use cases and scenarios for fixed and mobile land, sea and air vehicle’s secure and resilient beyond line-of-sight communication under harsh conditions to provide reliable, flexible, robust and also easily installable, manageable, configurable and operable under extreme conditions.”

While emphasizing CTech’s core motivation on becoming a world brand in fixed and mobile platform communication and jam-resistant secure communication for both military and government applications, Fırat continued, “We are developing modems that provide electronic jamming-resistant and secure Satellite Communication by Respective Standardization Agreement.

“Well of course, we have worked very hard to reach this stage. We held a meeting and demonstration with the participation of the Presidency of The Republic of Türkiye Secretariat of Defense Industries. They observed our product, we attended in many commissions and CTech was officially nominated by the Turkish National Authorities to participate in this competition.

“Following that, the NCIA released the invitation for bidding (IFB) for the Respective Standardization Agreement and additional capabilities. In a very strong competitive environment, we prepared well, worked hard and won the competition.

“This success, which also means a national representation mission, is an important indicator of the level our country has reached in this field. We are enjoying the proud excitement and justified enthusiasm of receiving the results of the perseverance, effort and patience we have shown for years. We will continue to pursue our future goals with the same enthusiasm, courage and determination.

“I am very confident that we will achieve greater success in both national and international areas. Additionally, this tender awarded by the NCIA, NATO’s technology and cyber hub, will be our Company’s very strong reference for taking firm steps towards becoming provider of the international market already.”
