Tiberius Aerospace has officially transitioned its Invictus long-range precision strike system from exploratory laboratory concepts into formal engineering Test & Evaluation (T&E) development to accelerate fielding for defense applications.
The company, a modern defense technology firm building next-generation weapon systems and AI-powered defense solutions for the United States, United Kingdom, and allied nations, is designing Invictus to tackle critical stockpile depletion. Defense inventories have faced unprecedented strain following conflict contingencies, including the U.S. Army expending nearly all of its ATACMS and Precision Strike Missiles during a five-month conflict with Iran, while Western missile stockpiles across Europe face similar pressures.
Invictus is engineered as a tube-launched, multi-mission platform capable of integrating across multiple domains, including vertical launch systems and autonomous vehicles operating on land and sea. The Invictus-200 variant pairs a ramjet propulsion system with an integral booster to reach speeds up to Mach 3 and execute precision strikes at ranges up to 200 kilometers, achieving a targeting accuracy of 5.5-meter CEP depending on guidance configuration. With a payload capacity of 10 to 15 kilograms, the weapon features a modular, open architecture that allows warfighters to adapt configuration based on evolving operational requirements.
The transition into formal T&E builds on momentum from Tiberius Aerospace’s Sceptre ramjet munition, launched in May 2025 and recently validated through live-firing ramjet ignition in the United States. Direct-connect testing of the Invictus ramjet engine is currently underway at Purdue’s Zucrow Laboratories, where the powerplant has demonstrated excellent operability using Jet-A fuel across all tested conditions. Formal development will focus on validating propulsion, flight performance, guidance, platform integration, and manufacturability.
