Israel’s Ministry of Defense has awarded a $9 million contract to Gilat Defense for the delivery and integration of advanced Satellite Communication (SATCOM) systems and services.
The order centers on next-generation defense modems, which serve as a primary component of the company’s ground system Defense solution. These modems are designed to enhance the ability of defense systems to provide secure, flexible, and reliable communications during mission-critical operations. Engineered for durability, the hardware is built to maintain robust connectivity while operating in harsh or unpredictable environments across various operational scenarios.
