General Dynamics Mission Systems’ TACLANE-Nano (KG-175N) and TACLANE-C175N cryptographic high value product encryptor have successfully passed interoperability testing with the Tyto Athene ACUITY Micro Data Center.

Together, this system provides warfighters with a deployable data center solution enabling secure classified communications and processing power in a portable form factor built to support teams of up to 50 users.

Combining proven technology with mobility and efficiency, this portable data center solution provides low Size, Weight, Power and Cost (SWaP-C) high assurance encryption with real time processing, and reliable connectivity across the tactical battlefield.

Compact and mobile, the TACLANE-Nano provides the highest level of information security at 200 Mbps aggregate throughput in the smallest, lightest and most power efficient form factor of any High Assurance Internet Protocol Encryptor (HAIPE) device or layered commercial solution available.

NSA-certified to protect classified top secret and below information, the TACLANE-Nano is a low-risk solution approved for broad use cases without the need to re-architect or reregister the solution. A non-controlled cryptographic item variant of the TACLANE-Nano, the TACLANE-C175N CHVP encryptor provides the same robust Type 1 security in the same small form factor for information classified secret and below. The simplified handling and accountability requirement of the TACLANE-C175N makes it ideal for protecting voice and data in high-risk environments like unmanned systems, telework, joint and non-national security missions.

The ACUITY Micro Data Center provides a robust array of built-in communication capabilities such as cellular, Wi-Fi, hard-lines, and satellite communications in a 30-pound carrying case. With the power of 10 servers with i7 processing power in the size of a credit card, ACUITY supports a wide variety of the tactical edge communication software required on the forefront of battle. An infrastructure that normally requires 20 people to set up, configure and support can be accomplished with a single person due to ACUITY’s turnkey capabilities of auto initialization with an ability to operate in a disconnected or connected environment.
