Gilat Satellite Networks Ltd. has announced that its defense division, Gilat Defense, has been awarded a contract exceeding $8 million by Israel’s Ministry of Defense.
This contract focuses on the delivery and integration of advanced satellite communication (SATCOM) systems and associated services, with deliveries anticipated within the next 12 months.
The SATCOM systems included in the contract are specifically designed to meet the rigorous operational demands of Israel’s defense forces. These systems are engineered to perform reliably in harsh and unpredictable conditions, making them suitable for a wide array of military communication requirements.
