General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI) has partnered with Nominal Inc. to implement an enterprise software platform for data management, analysis, and validation.

GA-ASI and Nominal will collaborate on real-time telemetry monitoring and aggregated flight data analysis tools for GA-ASI’s line of UAS.

Leveraging Nominal Core and Nominal Connect will enable GA-ASI to aggregate data and rapidly learn from large datasets built from the full lifecycle of systems, from developmental testing to field support, which ultimately will allow the company to better serve its customers in their critical missions.

GA-ASI President David R. Alexander, commented, “We’re excited to partner with Nominal. Nominal software will drive our new approach to flight telemetry data acquisition and processing as well as centralized data management.”

Cameron McCord, Nominal CEO, added, “We help test engineering teams discover, develop, and manage validation logic to bridge developmental test, operational test, and deployment. With GA-ASI, we will deliver step-change capabilities that save time, improve decision-making, and unlock collaboration across aerospace engineering teams.”

Nominal is focused on building software and data solutions for organizations that test and validate complex systems, including UAS. The company builds software designed for modern hardware teams, delivering a faster, more reliable way to test modern software-defined vehicles and other mission-critical systems.
