Anduril Industries has delivered a rapidly deployable kit of field-proven Counter Unmanned Aerial Systems (CUAS) to USNORTHCOM to address the growing threat of unauthorized drones in the U.S. homeland.

The system was recently demonstrated at Falcon Peak 25.2 at Eglin Air Force Base, which validated that the counter-UAS solution fully meets NORTHCOM’s operational requirements. In 2024, NORTHCOM reported more than 350 unauthorized drone incursions across 100 installations, highlighting the need for enhanced defense capabilities. The new kit has been developed for rapid deployment to support short-duration counter-UAS operations, offering complete kill-chain coverage to defend U.S. military infrastructure.

The system delivers full-spectrum capability, detect, track, identify, defeat, in a single, field-ready package. Each kit includes Mobile Sentry for autonomous detection and tracking, Wisp in a SkyFence configuration for wide-area passive IR coverage, Pulsar for RF detection and effects, and Anvil for low-collateral kinetic defeat. Power, compute, and networking are also included.

The entire system runs on the Lattice software platform and is designed to be rapidly deployed by military members. The system is built for use within U.S. airspace, a key differentiator from typical battlefield systems, as it is optimized to operate within the constraints of FAA regulations and other civilian considerations.

The delivery to NORTHCOM at Falcon Peak signifies a decisive step forward in operationalizing mobile counter-UAS defense across the United States.
