Elbit Systems has been awarded a contract worth approximately $102 million to supply artillery systems to an international customer.

Performed over a period of eight years, the contract will see Elbit supply a battalion’s worth of Autonomous Truck Mounted Howitzer (ATMOS) 155mm/52 caliber truck-mounted howitzer systems.

The ATMOS modular artillery system, a combat proven wheeled Howitzer solution designed for rapid deployment and operation, is capable of firing all NATO-certified 155mm projectiles. With an effective range of over 40km using standard projectiles, the system offers an extended range with Rocket-Assisted Projectiles (RAP).
