Portuguese enterprises EID and Critical Software have formed a strategic partnership to address developing opportunities in the defense and security sectors.
The two companies aim to provide complete Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Information (C4I) equipment, enhancing situational awareness and enabling faster, more informed decision-making for defense and security organizations, at both national and international levels.
EID’s digital communication and information exchange resources, which include personal, portable and manpack radios, data and energy integrators, data terminals, and intercom systems, will be used in conjunction with Critical Software’s EyeCommand solution, which provides command and control capabilities and a common operational image, enabling faster and more accurate decision-making at the tactical and operational levels.
“Our collaboration and combined offering will enable us to offer national and international defense, peacekeeping and homeland security organizations a complete solution,” emphasizes Nuno Cordeiro, Programs & Strategic Partnerships Director of EID.
Nuno Bustorff Silva, Critical Software’s Business Development Manager, added, “This is a positive step in the joint journey to provide flexible and agile communication solutions for defense, peacekeeping and homeland security clients.”
