SubSea Craft (SSC), a leading British provider of advanced maritime technology, has signed a one-year contract for Chamois to deliver PR and advertising consultancy services.

Best known for their VICTA diver delivery unit SSC is a privately funded company focused on maximizing the benefits of advanced technology, innovation and capitalizing on their highly skilled British engineering workforce. The VICTA Class craft is the first of a series of multi-domain platforms which enable militaries to conduct a range of covert operations and effects delivery. These capabilities are deployable as an individual asset or as a force multiplier, enhancing maritime operations through networked, crewed, or autonomous modes.

For 2024, SSC are focusing heavily on developing their ability to manufacture VICTA at scale in order to handle projected demand for the next-generation craft as navies increasingly turn to more agile and advanced technology solutions to handle contested maritime spaces. Alongside their core platform, SSC will continue to invest in R&D programmes in complementary areas such as advanced materials. Chamois will focus on delivering PR and advertising services targeted at the defense sector to build brand awareness and increase reach, while also promoting SSC’s wider skills and capabilities to other markets.

Jamie Clarke, CEO at Chamois, said; “This is simply fantastic news as we continue to grow our portfolio with the addition of yet another high-end engineering company. SSC is a British company doing remarkable things in the area of maritime technology and as such, is exactly the kind of company we’re most keen to work with. I am really looking forward to this exciting period and developing the relationship to become a trusted partner of SSC and to help them to grow the visibility and reach of their brand, their products and their services.”

Lee Ebsworth, CCO at SubSea Craft, said: “We have reached a critical juncture in the growth and development of SSC, having achieved proof-of-concept for VICTA and reached an advanced stage in discussions with a number of the UK’s global allies. Developing new and cutting-edge technology is the foundation of what we do at SSC, and we are very pleased to engage the services of Chamois to help promote our extensive capabilities.”
