APSCON 2026 is the Airborne Public Safety Association’s annual public safety aviation conference and exposition, bringing together pilots, tactical flight officers, aviation administrators, mechanics, UAS specialists, trainers, and public safety agencies for a week of education, networking, and industry engagement.
Taking place in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, the 2026 event will feature conference courses, technical sessions, networking events, aircraft activities, and an exhibition hall focused on public safety aviation technologies.
APSCON Unmanned 2026 will take place concurrently alongside APSCON 2026, with separate unmanned systems education and training programs while sharing an exhibit hall and several networking activities. Attendees from both events will have access to public safety aviation and UAS-focused technologies and operational discussions in one location.

APSCON 2026 will take place from July 13-17, 2026.
Pre-event registration activities will begin on Sunday, July 12, 2026.
APSCON 2026 will feature conference courses, technical classes, networking events, and a shared exhibit hall throughout the week-long schedule.
Conference courses will take place from Monday through Wednesday and include programs such as the Aviation Safety Officer Course, Aviation Unit Manager Course, Fixed-Wing Operator Course, Tactical Flight Officer-Airborne Thermographer Certification Course, and Safety Management Systems Course.
Additional conference classes and general sessions will run on Thursday and Friday, covering topics including safety, search and rescue, homeland security, legal and regulatory issues, and fixed-wing operations.
The APSCON exhibition hall will showcase products and services for public safety aviation operations, training, safety, and aviation unit support.
The exhibit hall opening reception, sponsored by Bell Textron, will take place on Wednesday evening. Additional networking activities throughout the week include the Opening Breakfast and General Membership Meeting, TECH TALK sessions, the Teledyne FLIR Vision Awards event, and the Airbus Friday Night Happy Hour.
Aircraft fly-in and fly-out activities will also take place during the event schedule.
Running concurrently with APSCON 2026, APSCON Unmanned 2026 will feature dedicated public safety UAS and unmanned systems training programs.
The unmanned program includes drone operations courses covering drone unit management, unmanned aircraft systems operations, counter-drone measures, and drone as first responder (DFR) programs.
Additional APSCON Unmanned classes will address law enforcement drone operations, emergency management, traffic reconstruction, forensics, training program management, safety, and regulatory matters.
Both APSCON and APSCON Unmanned attendees will share access to the exhibition hall and several networking events.
APSCON 2026 is designed for professionals involved in public safety aviation, airborne law enforcement, emergency response, and unmanned systems operations. Attendees include public safety pilots, tactical flight officers, aviation administrators, mechanics, unit commanders, government officials, instructors, trainers, aeromedical professionals, safety leaders, UAS operators, and industry representatives involved in public safety aviation and unmanned systems operations.
Registration options are available for full conference attendance, one-day conference passes, conference courses, and APSCON Unmanned courses and classes.
APSA members receive discounted registration pricing across conference and course options. Student and family member registration categories are also available for qualifying attendees.
Advance registration discounts are available for eligible registrations completed before the published deadlines.
Conference attendees may cancel registrations for a full refund if written notice is received by APSA before the stated cancellation deadlines. Administrative fees apply after those dates.
