Aero India 2027 is a biennial aerospace and defense exhibition organized by the Department of Defence Production, Ministry of Defence, Government of India. The event brings together aerospace and defense companies, government officials, aviation experts, and international delegations to showcase developments in aerospace technology and defense systems.
Now in its 16th edition, Aero India has been held since 1996 and attracts exhibitors and industry representatives from around the world. The exhibition provides opportunities for business discussions, technology demonstrations, and meetings between aerospace and defense organizations.
Aero India 2027 will feature military and civil aviation technologies, aircraft displays, aerospace components, defense equipment, and industry presentations. The event will also include dedicated business facilities and activities for aviation enthusiasts and the general public.
When is Aero India 2027?
Aero India 2027 will take place February 8–12, 2027, at Air Force Station Yelahanka in Bengaluru, India.
The first three days, February 8–10, are designated as Business Days, with Business Zone access restricted to valid Business Pass holders. The final two days, February 11–12, are Public Days, when General Visitor Pass holders can also enter the Business Zone.
The Aero India Experience Zone will be open to the general public from February 9–12, 2027.

What’s On at Aero India 2027?
Aero India 2027 will feature aerospace and defense exhibitions, aircraft flying demonstrations, static displays, seminars, conferences, and business meetings. Visitors will be able to explore technologies presented by aerospace manufacturers, suppliers, and industry organizations.
Business Zone
The Aero India Business Zone will provide facilities for business development activities, including exhibition halls, seminar and conference halls, meeting rooms, chalet areas, and static displays.
Designed for industry professionals, defense personnel, aerospace executives, delegates, and media representatives, the zone will support business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-government (B2G) meetings, product showcases, and discussions with potential buyers and government representatives.
Business Pass holders will be able to access the zone throughout the five-day event. General Visitor Pass holders will also be permitted entry on February 11–12. Access is restricted to adults over 18 years of age.
Aero India Experience Zone
The Aero India Experience Zone will open February 9–12, offering activities for aviation enthusiasts, students, families, and members of the general public.
The zone will include a dedicated flying display viewing gallery, outdoor displays of defense equipment and platforms, military and jazz band performances, cultural programs, and screenings of aerospace and defense films.
Additional activities will include talks, contests, career guidance covering opportunities in aerospace and defense, and “Know Your Army, Navy & Air Force” stalls. Visitors will also find selfie points, souvenir and gift shops, and food courts.
Aircraft Displays and Flying Demonstrations
Aero India 2027 will feature flying demonstrations involving fighter jets, helicopters, and commercial aircraft, highlighting the capabilities of aerospace technology.
Static displays will also form part of the exhibition, alongside aerospace components and defense systems presented by participating manufacturers and suppliers.
Seminars and Industry Discussions
The event will feature presentations, seminars, and panel discussions with global industry experts, addressing trends, challenges, and opportunities across the aerospace and defense sectors.
These sessions will provide attendees with information about technological developments and issues affecting the aerospace industry.
Exhibitor and Business Opportunities

Aero India 2027 Tickets
Tickets for Aero India 2027 are divided into Business Passes, General Visitor Passes, and Aero India Experience Zone tickets. Access to the Business Zone and Experience Zone is managed separately.
Business Passes
Business Passes provide access to the Business Zone on all five days, including the business-only period of February 8–10. Business visitor registration requires corporate identification.
Business Pass prices: INR 5,000 for Indian nationals and USD 150 for foreign nationals, excluding GST.
General Visitor Passes
General Visitor Passes provide access to the Business Zone during the Public Days on February 11–12.
General Visitor Pass prices: INR 2,500 for Indian nationals and USD 50 for foreign nationals, excluding GST.
Aero India Experience Zone Tickets
Experience Zone tickets provide entry to the dedicated public experience area from February 9–12.
Experience Zone ticket prices: INR 1,000 for Indian nationals and USD 20 for foreign nationals, excluding GST.
There is no age restriction for Experience Zone entry, although children above six years of age require a ticket.
Business Passes and General Visitor Passes provide access only to the Business Zone and do not include admission to the Aero India Experience Zone. Experience Zone tickets do not provide access to the Business Zone.
