DA 58-D Actuator
The DA 58-D is the most powerful fully redundant integrated brushless actuator on the market, providing a peak torque of >200Nm / 1770 lbf-in and a rated torque of 80Nm / 708 lbf-in. It is designed for the most high-reliability applications such as mission-critical aircraft and robotics, enabling continuous operation even after one channel has failed. All major components are duplicated, including the electric motor, control and communication electronics, and power supply.
The actuator also integrates a range of diagnostic sensors that provide continuous information on critical parameters such as current consumption, supply voltage levels and temperature. Health status can be easily read out via a CAN or RS-485 interface.
