DA 20 Actuator

The DA 20 actuator from Volz Servos combines mechanical durability with configurable control functions for UAV and defense-related applications requiring precise and dependable performance. Its housing integrates CNC-machined aluminum die-cast components and a fiberglass-reinforced lower section, delivering both strength and efficient heat dissipation. The internal steel gear train ensures long operational life under demanding load conditions, supporting a range of airborne and control system requirements.

The DA 20 series can be programmed to accommodate specific torque and response parameters through Volz’s software interface. Multiple configurations are available, including the DA 20-06-2505 model for higher load capacity at lower speed, and other variants supporting operation at increased voltages. Optional features include the ISS gear protection system, analog position feedback, and extended travel up to 330°, allowing precise adaptation to mission-specific platform requirements. The actuator’s versatility and compact format make it well suited for both UAV flight surfaces and ground-based control mechanisms in defense environments.
