The DA 15-N.ISS actuator from Volz Servos is designed for UAV and defense systems that operate in high-shock and vibration environments. Based on the established DA 15-N platform, it incorporates the Internal Servo Saver (ISS) mechanism, a built-in protection feature that safeguards the steel gear train from excessive radial shock loads. This mechanical protection system enhances operational longevity in demanding field conditions while maintaining precise actuation control.
Featuring a brushless DC motor and contactless position sensing system, the DA 15-N.ISS eliminates wear and ensures consistent performance under vibration and impact. Its conductive aluminum housing and shielded connection cable reduce susceptibility to electromagnetic and radio frequency interference. Fully programmable, the actuator supports PWM, RS-485, and CAN communication interfaces. Optional configurations include extended angular travel up to 340°, position feedback systems, and customized case designs, providing adaptability for a wide range of mission-critical aerial and defense applications.
