5–32 V, 15 mm brushless actuator with sealed aluminum housing & integrated feedback functions

The DA 15-N-HT actuator from Volz Servos is a high-endurance brushless unit developed for UAV and defense systems requiring extended operational life in harsh and vibration-prone environments. Derived from the DA 15-N platform, it features an additional gear stage that increases torque output while maintaining a compact 15 mm width. Its brushless DC motor and contactless position sensing system remove mechanical wear points, providing long-term reliability and resistance to shock. Endurance testing has confirmed over 4,000 hours of continuous operation under load.

Constructed from conductive, saltwater-resistant aluminum, the actuator minimizes susceptibility to electromagnetic and radio frequency interference. The DA 15-N-HT is fully sealed to IP67 standards and supplied with a shielded connection cable. Standard functionality includes integrated position, temperature, and current feedback, while available configurations extend capabilities with options such as ISS gear protection, extended travel up to 330°, position feedback devices, RS-485 communication, and custom housing formats for specific defense integration requirements.
