The Flight Stand Software from Tyto Robotics is a real-time motor testing and control platform for drone thrust stands, supporting manual and automated evaluation of propulsion systems for defense-focused uncrewed aircraft development. Included with all Flight Stand thrust stands, the software captures high-resolution data at up to 1,000 Hz, enabling engineers to assess thrust, torque, RPM, voltage, current, temperature, airspeed, power output, and efficiency during controlled bench testing.
The software supports endurance tests, step tests, ramp tests, constant thrust tests, 90% settling time tests, flight replay, powertrain mapping, multi-powertrain testing for distributed electric propulsion, and automated pass/fail quality control routines. Users can create custom throttle sequences, run pre-written scripts, modify tests through the Python API, and use the test automation wizard to streamline repeatable motor and propeller validation workflows.
