The S Band TDMA MESH (ADHOC) Data Link is a compact communication system based on TDMA architecture, supporting both point-to-point and point-to-multipoint connectivity. It is designed to provide reliable line-of-sight (LOS) communication and control across distributed defense platforms operating in dynamic environments.

Its compact form factor and low power consumption enable integration across a wide range of deployed assets, including tactical UAV platforms where size, weight, and power constraints are critical. The system is suited to scenarios requiring rapidly established communication networks with minimal infrastructure.

The data link incorporates an SDR modem utilizing advanced modulation techniques to improve spectral efficiency and overall link performance. Security is supported through AES-256 encryption, with optional spread spectrum techniques such as frequency hopping spread spectrum (FHSS) or direct sequence spread spectrum (DSSS) to enhance resistance to interference and interception.

Mesh networking capability is enabled through relay functionality, allowing the system to extend communication range and maintain connectivity across dispersed nodes. Data rates are adjustable up to 10 Mbps, either manually or automatically, depending on operational requirements and network conditions.

Based on a TDMA framework, the system supports ad-hoc network formation, allowing nodes to join, leave, or rejoin dynamically. Time slot allocation can be managed to prioritize bandwidth for specific participants, ensuring efficient use of network resources during mission-critical operations.
