The Flight Termination Transmitter (TUALFTT) is designed to generate precise FM-based termination signals for use in flight safety systems during test and evaluation operations. It responds to commands from a control console or PC, enabling controlled activation of termination sequences in accordance with operational requirements.
The system supports configuration of IRIG tone sequences and programmable RF center frequencies between 390 MHz and 450 MHz. Programming is performed via PC software through an RS-232 interface, allowing operators to select Tone A, B, C, D, SAFE, ARM, and TERM modes while monitoring system status through a graphical interface.
Its compact, lightweight, and ruggedized design supports integration with high-power amplifiers across mobile and fixed ground stations, as well as air and naval defense platforms. An optional embedded signal level measurement module provides real-time feedback on transmitted power, supporting verification during operation.
Built to comply with RCC 319 and MIL-STD-810G standards, the system is engineered for reliable performance in demanding environments. Reverse-polarity power protection and robust construction ensure long operational life, supporting critical range safety and flight test activities.
