The Trakka Interceptor Protection System – Counter Terror (TIPS-C) is a mobile Counter-Unmanned Aircraft System (C-UAS) solution designed to provide early detection, identification, tracking, and neutralization of evolving drone threats. Built around Trakka’s Total Mission Solutions architecture, the system delivers a fully integrated common operating picture for on-the-move drone detection and defeat operations, while providing extensive reporting and evidence collection capabilities. Designed for the protection of military installations, critical infrastructure, government facilities, public events, airports, and other high-value assets, TIPS-C enables operators to respond rapidly to both individual drone threats and coordinated swarm attacks.
At the core of the system is Trakka’s open-architecture command-and-control environment, combining TrakkaMaps® TM-100 mission management software, the TrakkaCam® TC-300 HDIR surveillance system, and DroneShield’s SmartHub MK II multi-sensor fusion technology. Environmental data from radar, RF detection systems, optical AI/ML analytics, and EO/IR sensors is fused into a single operational picture, enabling autonomous detection, identification, and multi-target tracking with integrated slew-to-cue camera control for visual verification and evidence recording.
The roof-mounted DroneSentry-X system provides automated 360° detection and defeat coverage with multi-drone tracking capability, while advanced algorithms distinguish drone threats from non-threatening moving objects such as birds, significantly reducing false alarms and improving response times. The open architecture supports integration with radar systems, RF detectors, jammers, acoustic sensors, HPEM devices, and other specialist counter-drone technologies, allowing the platform to be tailored to specific operational requirements.
