SDI’s 2470 and 2476 high-performance three-axis accelerometer modules are based on three orthogonally-mounted SDI industrial-grade surface mount MEMS accelerometer chips.
Packaged in a traditional 1-inch square anodized aluminium housing, the rugged plug-and-play devices are ideal for use in environments that undergo large or rapid temperature fluctuations, or prolonged periods of extreme temperatures.
The 2470 has an integrated cable and an 8-wire connection for easy integration, and the 2476 has an easily detachable connector that allows for custom cable lengths of up to 2000 feet.
Each unit is individually tested, calibrated and verified in a climate chamber in order to ensure the highest possible accuracy over a range of rapidly varying temperatures, and a full calibration report is provided.
