BORLINK-0821 is a compact airborne broadband radio that carries real-time IP video, telemetry, control information and mission data between airborne or mobile nodes and a ground station. Its OFDM architecture provides transparent Ethernet forwarding, allowing HD video, Ethernet traffic and serial data to share a single radio connection without protocol conversion.
Available in 800 MHz, 1.4 GHz and 2.4 GHz variants, BORLINK-0821 provides air-to-ground line-of-sight ranges of 20 to 50 km and data rates of up to 30 Mbps. One-to-one, one-to-many and mobile-relay configurations can be combined with ZUC, SNOW3G or AES encryption for secure mission networking, remote sensor backhaul and communications across distributed defense assets.
Two Ethernet ports and three serial channels accommodate cameras, mission computers, telemetry equipment and other payloads. The rugged aluminum radio weighs just 142 g and includes active cooling, enabling installation on platforms with restricted payload capacity.
