BORADAR-100 from SAGLAMTEK is an FMCW radar altimeter engineered for continuous height measurement on UAVs and other low-altitude autonomous platforms. Its operating range extends from 0.1 to 100 m, with measurements refreshed at 40 Hz. Accuracy is specified at ±0.1 m between 0.1 and 30 m and ±1 m from 30 to 100 m. Radar sensing enables altitude measurement in conditions where optical sensing may be affected by fog, smoke, dust, or restricted visibility.
The 81 g unit measures 107 × 61 × 21 mm and runs from a 5–12 VDC supply, with typical power consumption of 1.1 W at 5 VDC and 25°C. UART and CAN communications are supported. The supplied brochure lists mapping and surveying, logistics, firefighting, search and rescue, agriculture, and power-line inspection among the intended UAV applications.
