RDS’s TFT LCD display solutions provide high-resolution, responsive visualisation for command-and-control consoles, rugged operator workstations, military vehicle displays and portable ground control equipment. Available in a wide range of sizes and formats, they can present navigation, surveillance, sensor and mission data under direct sunlight, low-light conditions and adverse weather.
Standard modules can be extensively customised to meet the optical, mechanical and electrical requirements of a particular defence system. RDS can integrate touch controls, strengthened cover glass, optical bonding, EMI shielding, IP sealing, thermal management and custom housings, producing anything from small prototype batches to volume quantities for long-running programmes.
