The Ka-Band MOAB SSPA is a 400W wideband solid state power amplifier for defense SATCOM terminals requiring high-power Ka-band transmission in a compact outdoor package. Mission Microwave’s power-combining architecture enables a rugged 55 lb amplifier that mounts directly onto the antenna structure, reducing feed losses while supporting integration with space-constrained military communications systems.
Designed as a compact replacement for common TWTAs, the MOAB-Ka-400 SSPA provides 56.2 dBm / 417 W rated output power across 27.5 to 30.0 GHz, with additional frequency ranges available. The unit supports Ethernet control through Mission GUI or SNMP V3, plus serial management, and can be configured with M&C interface, ALC, and BUC options.
