CHARM50 is a compact standalone video and image processing module for smart cameras, seekers and airborne defense platforms. Built around the NXP i.MX95 processor, it combines multicore ARM computing with integrated AI and machine learning acceleration to run FrameWorkx software, DEFT tracking and AI target classification simultaneously.
Designed for ultra-low-latency applications with tight size, weight and power requirements, the module provides two configurable video inputs through selectable analog or digital mezzanine interface cards. Gigabit Ethernet provides the primary host connection, and serial, USB and GPIO interfaces are available for system integration.
