Kaonic Rugged Enclosure

The Kaonic Rugged Enclosure is a rugged enclosure designed to house and protect the Kaonic 1S tactical mesh node in military operational environments. It is intended for soldier-mounted use, supporting chest-mounted and body-worn configurations, with provision for optional vehicle integration. The enclosure is constructed from aluminium 6061 with a black anodised finish and is engineered for use in harsh outdoor and mobile conditions.

The unit incorporates sealed bulkhead-mounted RF connectors and locking USB Type-C interfaces for external power input. It is designed to meet IP67 ingress protection targets and aligns with MIL-STD-810H considerations for shock and vibration. With a defined operating temperature range and sealed connector architecture, the enclosure supports reliable physical protection and interface integrity in demanding environments.
