Orbit Communication Systems has secured a new contract valued at approximately $2.4 million to supply advanced Satellite Communication (SATCOM) systems to a prominent NATO navy.

The order, placed by a leading European defense integrator, focuses on the delivery of OceanTRx4 MIL SATCOM systems designed specifically for military maritime platforms. These systems are engineered to provide mission-critical connectivity in demanding naval environments, with deliveries expected to begin in 2026.

The OceanTRx4 MIL is part of a broader family of naval solutions and is distinguished by its ability to support simultaneous multi-frequency operations, offering significant operational flexibility for modern fleets. This capability ensures that naval forces can maintain high-performance communication links while at sea, even under complex operational requirements.

Daniel Eshchar, CEO of Orbit, said, “We are proud to receive another order from a leading European integrator for our advanced maritime SATCOM systems, supporting a major NATO fleet. The OceanTRx4 MIL enables operational flexibility through simultaneous multi-frequency operation and is part of our proven family of military naval SATCOM solutions. These orders further underscore Orbit’s technological leadership in maritime satellite communications, particularly for advanced naval forces, and reflect growing demand for resilient, high-performance connectivity at sea.”

As a global provider of mission-critical communication technologies, Orbit specializes in land, airborne, and maritime SATCOM terminals, as well as tracking ground station solutions. This latest contract reinforces the company’s position within the European defense sector and highlights the ongoing demand for sophisticated tracking and communication systems among advanced naval forces.
