BORADAR-Y from SAGLAMTEK is a compact proximity radar for obstacle awareness across UAVs, autonomous vehicles, robotic systems, and other mobile platforms. The sensor observes a 112° horizontal sector with a 15° elevation angle and can provide target, sector, or point-cloud outputs for integration with a host platform. Up to five valid zones can be configured, while UART, RS485, and CAN interfaces support connection to onboard control and processing systems.
Operating from a 9–24 VDC input, BORADAR-Y has typical power consumption of 1.2 W and measures 84.0 × 55.6 × 13.1 mm. The brochure identifies UAV obstacle avoidance, autonomous ground vehicles, AGV/AMR platforms, industrial robotics, smart machinery, and mobile robots among its intended uses, allowing the radar to address proximity-awareness requirements across multiple autonomous platform types.
