The Universal PoE Module from BotBlox is a compact PoE injector that simplifies the delivery of power and data across Ethernet networks in embedded and SWaP-constrained platforms. Supporting passive PoE for legacy devices as well as active IEEE 802.3af, IEEE 802.3at, IEEE 802.3bt Type 3, and IEEE 802.3bt Type 4 standards, it eliminates the complexity often associated with integrating third-party PoE equipment. The module enables a single solution to support a wide range of PoE-powered devices while maintaining 10BASE-T, 100BASE-T, and 1000BASE-T Gigabit Ethernet data connectivity.
Measuring just 28mm x 28mm x 11mm, the Universal PoE Module combines a compact footprint with rugged deployment characteristics for demanding military and embedded applications. The design incorporates positive-locking Molex PicoBlade connectors, two M2 mounting holes, an operating temperature range of -40°C to 85°C, and support for up to 89W of PoE output. An onboard microcontroller and UART interface provide a foundation for future software-controlled power management and diagnostic functionality. The module is NDAA compliant and offers a China-free supply chain for defense and government procurement programs.
