UK-based defense infrastructure specialist G3 Systems Limited has secured a €100 million contract from the Netherlands Ministry of Defence to deliver a large fleet of deployable flatracks and containers.
The contract forms a central component of the Dutch MoD’s WTB (Wissellaadsystemen, Trekker-opleggercombinaties, and WielBergingsvoertuigen) programme, which is focused on modernizing the country’s strategic transport and logistics capabilities. With nearly 25 years of operational experience in deployable infrastructure, G3 Systems will provide approximately 700 custom-engineered units during a 30-month delivery phase, followed by a 15-year in-service support commitment.
This award represents the largest segment of the WTB programme’s Physical Distribution Systems category, which runs in parallel with two other modernization pillars: Trucks, and Trailers & Semi-Trailers.

The G3 Systems delivery will include over 400 general-purpose flatracks, along with 270 specialist ISO containers tailored for the storage and transport of general stores, ammunition, pharmaceuticals, medical supplies, and hazardous materials such as POL and chemicals. These container systems will be equipped with mission-critical features including power generation, CBRN-capable HVAC systems, medical-grade refrigeration, and integrated tracking and monitoring technologies. All units are designed for global deployment across land, sea, and air transport platforms, enabling seamless support of multinational and expeditionary operations.
The contract also includes an option to double the initial quantity of units delivered, underlining the modular scalability and strategic value of G3 Systems’ logistics solutions. A significant portion of the integration and manufacturing will be executed in collaboration with European industrial partners, drawing on G3 Systems’ global supply chain and its leadership in project management, engineering, and through-life support.
Nick Rose, Managing Director of G3 Systems said, “This is a momentous landmark in the history of G3 Systems, and I am incredibly proud that the hard work, dedication, professionalism and expertise we hold at G3 Systems has been recognised with this contract award, won in open competition. Clearly there is a tremendous amount of work to do, and we have already bolstered our team in order to be ready to deliver in the 30-months delivery timeframe, whilst making sure we sustain and grow the remainder of our business.”
He added, “This has been a true team effort, which is a game changer for this organisation and one that will elevate our provision of deployable infrastructure to the next level. Thank you to everyone who has helped to make this happen.”
This international collaboration strengthens interoperability within NATO, while ensuring timely delivery of critical logistics infrastructure to support the Netherlands’ evolving defense mobility strategy.
