Speed@Seawork 2025 is returning as a premier platform for showcasing the latest high-speed vessels and technologies designed for maritime security, intervention, and Search And Rescue (SAR) missions.

Organized in partnership with the Society of Maritime Industries (SMI) and sponsored by Chartwell Marine and Mecal, the event will take place on June 9th, at the Royal Ocean Racing Club in Cowes, Isle of Wight.

More than 100 specialist delegates are confirmed to attend the 2025 edition, including MOD representatives from 19 countries across Scandinavia, Eastern Europe, the Middle East, Far East, Africa, the Southern Hemisphere, and the Americas. The event will facilitate valuable networking between end-users, government officials, and technology providers across the defense and maritime sectors.

Attendees can expect presentations offering insight into upcoming requirements and strategic initiatives from:

  • The UK Ministry of Defence’s DE&S Boats Team
  • The Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI)
  • The UK’s National Shipbuilding Office

One of the key highlights of Speed@Seawork is the opportunity for delegates to take part in live sea trials, observing first-hand the performance of cutting-edge fast craft in the open waters of the Solent. These trials are conducted in unrestricted areas, providing an authentic operational context for evaluation.

In addition to on-water demonstrations, a range of marine equipment and technologies will be on display ashore, with specialist providers presenting solutions tailored to defense, border security, and emergency response missions.

Representatives from the Royal Navy, UK Police forces, UK Border Force, and a wide range of marine and civil organizations are expected to be in attendance, reinforcing Speed@Seawork’s role as a critical convergence point for innovation in high-speed maritime operations.
