Trillium Engineering has unveiled the HD25-LV-C, a compact gimbaled imaging system designed to address the challenges of cost-constrained programs such as Launched Effects (LE), loitering munitions, and other attritable platforms.
As defense priorities shift toward scalable, cost-effective systems for contested environments, the HD25-LV-C delivers Trillium’s proven imaging, onboard processing, and scene steering capabilities in a compact design built for expendable use.
Weighing just 390 grams, the HD25-LV-C meets strict SWaP-C requirements and integrates seamlessly with small UAS and LE platforms. Despite its size, the system supports visible and LWIR imaging, onboard electronic stabilization, and real-time geolocation accurate to within 1.5°, ensuring precise and reliable performance in dynamic conditions.
Ryan O’Connor, Vice President of Product Development, of Trillium Engineering, stated, “The HD25-LV-C was built to align with the evolving tactical landscape. The future of ISR is smaller, smarter, more integrated, and cost efficient. The HD25-LV-C is our response to that future, an imaging system built not just to operate in complex environments, but to excel in them.”
Trillium’s investment in the HD25-LV-C reflects the company’s continued commitment to supporting next-generation autonomous missions with sensor solutions that are precise, reliable, and ready for scale.
