Advanced American-Made Drone Technologies for Aerial ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance)

Red Cat Holdings is a leading developer of advanced American-made drone technologies that redefine the state of the art in aerial ISR (intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance), empowering U.S. military forces and allied warfighters with game-changing situational awareness.

We are committed to constant growth and innovation, partnering with a range of other leading companies to ensure that we maintain a cutting-edge technology stack and provide our customers with highly reliable solutions that enhance mission effectiveness and make a difference.

Black Widow™ sUAS – America’s Drone™

Short-range ISR platform for contested environments & electronic warfare

Born from our commitment to provide the most effective solutions for the modern battlefield while strengthening the U.S. industrial base, the American-made Black Widow™ represents a new era of short-range tactical reconnaissance for our armed forces and coalition partners around the world. The Blue UAS-certified drone system is part of Red Cat’s Arachnid Family of Systems, which has been purpose-built for the U.S. Army’s roadmap for UAS integration.

Black Widow short-range ISR drone

The portable multirotor UAS weighs just 3.6 lbs and offers flight times of up to 35 minutes, and is ideal for a wide range of missions including route recon, target identification, and scouting for safe landing zones.

Modular design for multi-mission versatility

The versatile Black Widowâ„¢ features a fully modular architecture, allowing it to be quickly reconfigured in the field for different mission requirements. It is provided as standard with the Teledyne FLIR Hadron 640R+, enabling it to gather mission-critical EO/IR imagery at any time of day or night. An integrated Picatinny rail allows other third-party payloads to be connected with ease.

The Black Widowâ„¢ is also the only UAS in its class that allows field repairability for motor arms and propellers as well as the main sensor.

Black Widow Blue UAS

Secure communications & covert capabilities

The Black Widowâ„¢ includes a hex-band radio from Doodle Labs, with frequency-hopping in the M1-M6 bands for enhanced resilience in electronic warfare environments. It also includes an M-Code capable GPS receiver with advanced anti-jamming capabilities.

The platform also allows all audible noises, visual indicators, and ground proximity sensors to be disabled during a mission, allowing it to operate with maximum covertness.

The Black Widowâ„¢ drone has been chosen for the US Army Short Range Reconnaissance Program

Edge 130 Blue

Blue UAS-approved hybrid VTOL drone for medium-range reconnaissance

Edge 130 hybrid VTOL drone

The Edge 130 Blue is an advanced military-grade hybrid VTOL tricopter drone designed specifically for medium-range mapping and ISR missions. With a small logistical footprint, the versatile platform can take off and land anywhere and can be assembled and launched in just one minute. The hybrid platform seamlessly transitions between forward flight and hover modes, and delivers class-leading flight endurances of up to two hours.

Edge 130 blue uas

The Edge 130 Blue can be equipped with a range of easily-swappable Blue UAS-approved payloads, including a dual-channel Overwatch EO/IR gimbal and a triple-camera 39 MP mapping system. The UAS also features cyber-hardened radios with AES-128/256 encryption for the utmost in security.

Teal 2

Compact Blue UAS-approved quadcopter with FLIR EO/IR payload

Teal drone military grade uas

The Teal 2 is an advanced U.S.-designed and made quadcopter sUAS that has earned a place on the U.S. Department of Defense DIU Blue UAS list. Optimized for short-range reconnaissance missions, the compact foldable drone is rucksack-portable and easy to deploy in highly challenging environments.Teal 2 Blue UAS quadcopter

The platform is equipped with the advanced FLIR Hadron 640R EO/IR payload, combining a 64MP visible camera with a radiometric 640 x 512 thermal imager and enabling users to easily identify and track targets and acquire critical intelligence and situational awareness even in complete darkness. This cutting-edge payload provides a comprehensive set of thermal palettes, allowing you to optimize infrared imaging output to suit specific mission requirements. These include:

  • White Hot – mostly-dark screen for preserving night vision
  • Black Hot – displays body heat in a clear image with high detail
  • Hottest – ideal for high-contrast environmental conditions, firefighting and leak detection
  • Arctic – contrasts light colors against darker shading, making it easy to rapidly detect heat sources and slight temperature changes
  • Ironbow – shows heat distribution and subtle details, ideal for low-contrast environments

Thanks to its modular design, the Teal 2 can be easily enhanced with upgrade packages, future-proofing the platform for evolving technologies and mission requirements. Payloads and propulsion systems can be quickly swapped out, making it easy to repair or reconfigure the UAS in the field.

Red Cat Futures Initiative

We have assembled an industry-wide consortium of robotics and autonomous systems (RAS) partners that leverages the power of collaboration and cutting-edge technologies, rapidly creating innovative solutions that equip Government and warfighters with the means to defeat the latest battlefield and security threats.

The Red Cat Futures Initiative is designed to accelerate integration through open architecture and interoperability, and provides the customer with a variety of options that allow them to tailor baseline system purchases to their exact requirements. The consortium also provides a way for smaller vendors and developers to compete effectively in the marketplace against larger businesses.

Veterans Outreach Initiative

The Red Cat Veterans Outreach Initiative enables us to support America’s warfighters with more than just equipment, and represents our commitment to giving back to the veteran community.

As part of this initiative, we’ve introduced a limited-edition American-made Red Cat Premium Cabernet Sauvignon wine, with a percentage of proceeds from every bottle sold going directly to trusted veterans’ charitable organizations focused on health, recovery, transition, and empowerment.
