
MilDef’s IT equipment has been ordered by the Swedish Defense Materiel Administration (FMV) as part of Sweden’s accelerated defense rearmament.
The Swedish Defense Materiel Administration (FMV) is responsible for procuring, developing, and delivering equipment and services to the Swedish Armed Forces. MilDef has collaborated with FMV since 1997 on tactical and ruggedized IT. The latest order will provide the Swedish Armed Forces with updated technology to support the digitization of command-and-control (C2) systems and capability development. The equipment is developed and manufactured by MilDef in Sweden.
The procurement includes IT equipment intended to support the digitization of the Swedish Army. The order is valued at SEK 126 million, with deliveries scheduled for 2025.
