General Atomics has launched Quadratix, a new initiative that integrates the company’s software enterprise into a unified platform designed to enhance all-domain response and information dominance.

General Atomics Unveils Software Enterprise for All-Domain Response & Information Dominance

This shift will enable General Atomics to deliver solutions that drive interoperability, cross-functional collaboration, and advanced capabilities across the aerospace and defense sectors.

The Quadratix enterprise combines General Atomics’ expansive software workforce with its broad portfolio of systems, creating a unified platform for the following key areas:

  • Autonomy, Artificial Intelligence, and Machine Learning
  • Airborne Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance
  • Land-Based Advanced Sensing
  • Sea-Based Threat Detection
  • Space-Based Missions and Satellite Operations
  • Cyber Exploitation
  • Unified Data Fusion and Visualization

By bringing these diverse technological efforts under one roof, Quadratix promotes seamless integration and streamlined solutions for customers seeking to leverage the full spectrum of General Atomics’ expertise.

GA-ASI CEO, Linden Blue, said, “We’ve transcended a one-for-one software build and arrived at an integrated suite of software solutions for our aircraft and our customers.

“We’re moving out fast to meet our users’ toughest challenges by grouping these solutions together under the Quadratix umbrella.”

Blue added, “Quadratix integrates across our full catalog of subordinate systems to command, control, collect, catalog, and communicate information and intelligence to customers.

“Built from our existing integrated network of proven systems and subsystems, Quadratix is GA’s end-to-end solution for providing information dominance.”

As one of the largest privately held defense companies globally, General Atomics has long been a trailblazer in aerospace and defense technology. With a workforce that includes over 1,000 software engineers and experts, the company’s new enterprise offers enhanced capabilities for both current and future customers. Quadratix brings together the company’s various divisions, including Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI); Electromagnetic Systems Group (GA-EMS); Integrated Intelligence, Inc. (GA-III); and other holdings.

A prime example of this new collaborative effort is the unmanned aircraft delivered by GA-ASI. The industry-leading Predator® series of UAS and the company’s next-generation autonomous jets will benefit from the collective advancements in autonomy, AI, and ML driven by other GA divisions. This holistic approach to technology development is revolutionizing how global military forces address complex challenges and respond to emerging threats.
