UXV Technologies and Company of Electronic Technologies LLC (KORT) are partnering on the integration of transmission technologies in ground control stations for operating unmanned systems with a new Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).

UXV Technologies has successfully integrated over 25 radios into its Swappable Radio Module Ecosystem, which is compatible with the versatile, radio-agnostic Soldier Robotic Controller.

Based on the collaboration agreement, KORT’s technology in areas such as radio and video communication will be integrated with UXV Technologies’ ground control stations to control various types of unmanned or remotely operated platforms, including unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs), and weapon stations.

Among other efforts KORT’s radio and video transmission technology, TLM-2, will become part of UXV Technologies’ ecosystem of Swappable Radio Modules (SRM). SRM radios offer a significant performance advantage and a high level of flexibility, as users are not locked into one system and can swap radios as needed.

KORT is a producer of high-performance transmission technologies, and UXV Technologies is a producer of cutting-edge technologies for unmanned systems and defense robotics. The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was announced during a signing ceremony at the Danish-Ukrainian Defence Industry Conference in Kyiv, Ukraine.

Vadym Kodachyhov, CEO of KORT, expressed his enthusiasm about the collaboration; “I am very excited to embark on this partnership with UXV Technologies. Collaborating with a pioneer in unmanned systems and defense robotics is a highly important milestone in our journey to enhance the integration of high-performance transmission technologies for operating unmanned systems such as drones.”

Steven Friberg, CEO of UXV Technologies, is also excited about the prospects that this partnership can bring, including adding KORT radio and video communication technology to UXV Technologies’ solutions that can support Ukraine; “UXV is committed to providing pioneering innovations to deliver cost-effective, high-performance equipment to our allies.

“With this Memorandum of Understanding, we are not only strengthening our collaboration with KORT but also underscoring our commitment to mutually beneficial partnerships with the Ukrainian defense industry to enhance the capabilities of our allied forces.”
