US DoD Contracts Faun Trackway for VTOL Surfacing System Kits

Faun Trackway USA, Inc., has been awarded a $24 million US Department of Defense (DoD) contract for the production and delivery of Vertical Take-off and Landing (VTOL) Surfacing System Kits.

The contract will see up to 54 Helicopter Landing Mats manufactured to support Marine Corps Expeditionary Airfield emergent requirements on Expeditionary Advance Base Operations.

The Helicopter Landing Mat System features the lightweight and logistically efficient PSA Flat Top N Trackway® panel to facilitate the rapid construction of landing, take-off, servicing and maintenance areas suitable for helicopter operations.

Chris Kendall, President at FAUN Trackway USA, Inc., said; “Our engineering team has worked extensively to understand the requirements of the end user, along with historical issues encountered. The result has been the design, development and extensive testing of a product that we are proud to support the Marine Corps with now, and for years to come.”
